Friends of the Crook County Library
The Friends are an informal group of
library supporters. Their goal is to enhance,
expand, and promote our library’s services
and resources.
The Friends are community members
who believe that a good library is essential
to the cultural and economic well-being of
the community. They focus public attention
on the library services and activities,
strengthen and expand library services,
sponsor a summer reading program for
kids, and supplement County funding,
allowing for special services and materials
that might not otherwise be possible.
The Friends need your support. Join the
Friends and help make the library the best
it can be.
When you become a Friend of the Crook
County Library, you will meet new people
and become involved in the community,
receive a tax deduction, attend special
events and functions for members, attend
the “Members Only” time at Friends’-spon-
sored book sales, and learn new skills by
helping raise money and puttting on pro-
grams. You may purchase a brick paver to
be placed in the courtyard area in front of
the library.
