Soroptimist International of Prineville
Soroptimists are an international organi-
zation with membership consisting of busi-
ness and professional women. The club
alternates business and program meetings.
The organization is embodied by a charita-
ble trust, club boards and the membership
at large — all of which conduct the busi-
ness of the club strictly on a volunteer
basis. Prineville Soroptimist formed a chari-
table trust under Soroptimist International
specifically to oversee the operations of the
Senior Center, which they own and operate.
Services provided by the center include the
meal site at the center, home-delivered
meals, and the resale shop, The Neat
Repeat. The organization provides several
scholarships and awards to individuals and
organizations in the community during the
year.
