Prineville Hospital Foundation
When the tax levy failed in 1981, a
resourceful group of community leaders
founded Prineville Hospital Foundation.
The mission was and continues to be to
provide financial support to Pioneer
Memorial Hospital for capital and equip-
ment needs. Located on the hospital cam-
pus at 1201 NE Elm St., the Foundation,
with the help of community resources and
memberships, has funded many projects
since 1980. These include the Emergency
Department and equipment for the
Intensive Care Unit. Pioneer Memorial
Hospital continues to serve the community
by saving lives and helping the sick, both
acute and chronic, in Crook County.
Community support of Foundation events
like the Art and Music Gala, Founders’ Day
Breakfast, Fund an Item, memorials, and
donations through wills, trust funds and
grants will help to raise the funds needed
for technological advances and the capital
needs of the hospital, our community
health resource.
