Violence Intervention and Prevention
This program helps participants with the
process of changing their worldview from a
possibly self-centered victim perspective to
a more independent and possibly even
interdependent view of the world. It also
helps men discover how they have been
socialized by the culture they live in and
how that greatly impacts their world view,
which impacts how they treat others. The
program helps to think critically about their
relationships with their wives, children, and
all relationships.

Family Community support
Parent Classes help provide par-
ents with the skills needed for bet-
ter communication with their
child. The individual is referred by
their therapist for this service.
The classes teach parents effec-
tive discipline techniques, how to
build the child's cooperation, the
power of encouragement, and
promote mutual respect
between parents and children.
They learn how to build the
child's character, courage, and
self-esteem. Parents are also
instructed on how to reduce the
risks of drugs, sexuality and
