Fossil Museum
Fossil Museum, located in downtown Fossil (501 1st Street), is a
presentation of artifacts relating to Fossil's history. The museum
displays include the original post office window from Fossil Post
Office on Hoover Creek, desk, and church pews from the ghost town
of Richmond, and the largest photographic collection of Wheeler
County history in the state.

Jefferson County Museum
Jefferson County Museum, located downtown in an historic 1917
courthouse (34 S.E. D St.). The museum displays pioneer artifacts that
reflect early county sheep ranching, transportation, dry-land farming,
and seven wars.
