Parks
Bend’s
Rotary Centennial Playground
is
located at Larkspur Park, 1700 S.E. Reed
Market Road, adjacent to the Bend Senior
Center in Bend. It was designed for use by all
children, so that all children can play
together with their family and friends. The
park has amenities that make it accessible by
children with special needs and parents who
have special needs. It features access and
ground cover that is ADA recommended.

Redmond’s
Sam Johnson Park
rests in the
southern Dry Canyon on 8.51 acres at the
corner of Southwest 15th and Southwest
Evergreen Avenue. This park provides many
amenities, including a playground that can
be conveniently accessed from the Dry
Canyon Trail.

Sisters’
Village Green Park
is located
downtown at 01 East Washington Ave. This
lovely park has a covered gazebo, and
covered barbecue area with tables,
playground equipment, and many shade
trees. Motor homes may park in this area
during the daytime only. The City of Sisters
allows groups to reserve this park for events
such as craft shows, fairs, weddings,
reunions, etc. for a fee. Electricity is available.

Sahalee Park
is located at Seventh and C
streets in
downtown
Madras. It offers
covered picnic
areas, lots of
shady grass, and
the all-
important
playground
equipment.

Creek Park
is

along
Ochoco
Creek from
Elm Street
to the east
side of
Juniper
Street.
Facilities at the Prineville park
include two lighted tennis courts, a skate
track, a covered picnic shelter with power,
two barbecues, drinking fountain, electrical
outlets, picnic tables for 200 people, two
basketball courts, modern handicap
accessible restroom, wooden footbridge,
handicap fishing platform, a large
children’s play structure, and an outdoor
amphitheater. The park is home to two war
memorials, a DAR memorial, and the
Wildland Firefighters Memorial.
