Sunriver Stables offers a wide range of
equestrian experiences, including pony
rides, half-hour to eight-hour trail rides,
and lessons. During winter, they also offer
a one-horse open sleigh ride in a
traditional Victorian sleigh.

permitting)
Treat your family to a time-honored
tradition with a One Horse Open Sleigh
Ride at Sunriver Stables. Sleighs hold four
adults and two children comfortably under
warm winter blankets. Cost is $100 per
sleigh. All rides begin at the Sunriver
Stables. Rides available for $125 on
holidays (Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1).

A variety of rides are available based on
experience. The stable crew does their best
to provide you with a ride to enjoy and
remember for years to come. All-day and
half-day rides are available.
Stable horses come from a stock of
Mustangs raised on the Warm Springs
open range. To make reservations, call 541-

Pony rides: $15 (guided by an adult from
the stables)

of the Ranch, just to the southeast of the
entrance at 13892 Bishop’s Cap, behind the
General Store.

Featured trail rides include a 2-mile ride
(30+ Minutes), 3.3-mile ride (60 minutes),
and 5.5-mile ride (1.5 hours). The Parent
Powered Lil Buckaroo Corral Ride costs $15,
and the Black Butte Posse all-day ride costs
$160-$195.
