up on a cold, rainy Ore-
gon night with a quilt
stitched with love by
someone you know.
Though it is one of the oldest
crafts out there, quilting is still
popular and hasmany forms and
styles— fromclassic, log cabin
patterns to ultra-modern prints to
pictorial quilts depicting images.
Today, quilt shops and sew-
ing stores offer a variety of fab-
rics, supplies, kits and even
classes. So, if you’ve ever been
inspired to make a concert T-
shirt quilt or a quilt made out
of your children’s favorite
