WASHINGTON COUNTY ARTS GUIDE SEPTEMBER — NOVEMBER 2013
Each day you leave —
wherever you’ve stepped —
shapes strung along the ground.
Right, left, right, your footprints
are the quick kisses feet steal, a trace
of where your body’s been
and been weighty enough to make
an impression — your journey’s
own configuration.
Go where you need to.
Step with care. From that earth
left behind you as you walk,
your faint trail shines.
Paulann Petersen
IMPRINT
community members to give back — with a few
unique incentives.
Since no fees are withheld, 100 percent of each
donor’s gift is passed directly through to the arts and
culture community. A matching challenge fund
automatically doubles those gifts, and the Arts Card
provides 2-for-1 tickets to hundreds of arts and
culture experiences.
Donations are primarily gathered through payroll
deductions and from workplace giving campaigns at
companies all over the region, including the
Washington County locations of Axium, Bank of the
Cascades, Burgerville, City of Beaverton, Federal
Agencies, Intel, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Kaiser
Permanente, KeyBank, LAIKA, Nike, Norm
Thompson Outfitters, NW Natural, OHSU, Pacific
University, The Portland Clinic, Portland General
Electric, The Standard, State of Oregon Agencies,
Umpqua Bank, Washington County, and Wells Fargo
Bank. Anyone who’d like to support this program
(but whose company isn’t on that list) can contact
Work for Art manager Kathryn Jackson: kjackson@
racc.org or 503-823-5424.
