2013-2014 North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce Business Directory
B
ecause of its location, the North Clackamas County area offers a variety of
business and residential settings. Bordering southeast Portland, the area fea-
tures small cities (Damascus, Gladstone, Happy Valley, and Milwaukie), as well as
urban unincorporated areas. Several elevated areas provide views of Downtown
Portland, the Willamette Valley, and/or Mt. Hood.
Other parts of the area have a more suburban or rural feel. We have an number
of Chamber members involved in real estate, mortgage lending, senior housing,
apartment living and rental properties who are knowledgeable about the area
and happy to assist you in finding the best place to call home.
The North Clackamas area includes the gateway to Mt. Hood, as well as idyllic
river settings. Whether your idea of great recreational time is hiking, bicycling,
fishing, golfing, water recreation or winter sports, this area offers a wide variety
of fun.
This is the type of area people have in mind when they think of Oregon. Only 12
miles from Portland International Airport, you’ll still feel a world away as you sur-
round yourself with hometown charm, big city retail, abundant rental and owner
occupied housing, and opportunities for outdoor recreation.
