Technology, efficiency and style — attributes the 2013 Ford Fusion has
in abundance. And there are plenty to look at at Canby Ford right now.
Ford promises of an engaging drive and a much-improved interior, but
the proof will be when you slide behind the wheel and take it for a drive.
The sleek European styling is paired with three different models. The
Fusion offers buyers their choice of conventional, hybrid, and plug-in
hybrid models. Those who opt to go strictly fossil fuel have three engine
options: a 170-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic; a
179-hp, 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbo four mated to either a six-speed auto or a
six-speed manual; and a 237-hp, 2.0-liter EcoBoost four mated to a six-
speed automatic. Fusion hybrid buyers get a new 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle
four-cylinder to replace the outgoing 2.5-liter unit. A permanent-magnet
AC synchronous motor holds up the electrical end of the momentum bar-
gain, helping to boost total system output to 185 hp and 130 lb-ft of
torque.
On the list of available features are adaptive cruise control, a lane-keep-
ing system, blind-spot warning, active park assist and the MyFord Touch
system . For the driving enthusiast there is electric steering, strut front
suspension, and multilink rear suspension.

Choosing the right auto body shop for your vehicle should not be taken
lightly. Not only do you want a company that is courteous and professional,
but ideally you want one that has built a reputation of doing the job right. Not
all body shops are the same. For example, choosing the one your insurance
company told you to will only result in a minimum repair to your car and this
doesn’t guarantee they will do a good job on your automobile.
Oftentimes, the insurance-approved shop proves to be the most convenient
and affordable option for collision repair. However, you may still want to
receive recommendations from outside sources such as friends and family.
Comparing price quotes among several different shops is also a good idea.
Most of the time, your insurance company will do this, and then send you to
their preferred shop. However, you can take your car to any repair shop you
want, after all it is your car and your money so you should be able to shop for
the best.
Don't let "cheap" influence
you! The cost is usually what
everyone looks at first, howev-
er, if they use a can of spray
paint, how's your car going to
look when they are done?
Check around and see what
type of work they do first
before you let someone work
on your car.
Be sure they use the best
paint. Some of the repair shops
will try to slip some poor paint
onto your auto. Some of the
paint these days will only last a
year or so before it starts to wear off.
Look for the warranty or guarantee. They should have a good one that will
cover any type of work they do on your automobile. It should cover the paint,
dents and starches, body work, and labor.
Looking for a collision repair shop is time consuming, but once you find the
right one, you'll be glad you chose them. Your car will look like new again and
no one will be able to see that any work has been done at all. Also, ask around
and get others opinion of the auto body repair shop you choose for your auto.
That's the best type of shop to have fix your car.
We never plan on having an accident, but sometimes it happens. If you are
involved in an accident, the last thing you want it for the situation to become
worse by hastily choosing the wrong auto body repair center. Take a few
moments to research the company. Check customer testimonials. Find testimo-
nials online, browse through them to see what others are saying.

Making your “seasonal items” truly seasonal. Here we are facing anoth-
er Fall in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and I think we can all agree that
the end of Summer is always bittersweet.
Gone are sunny days filled with swimming pools, bike rides, and BBQ’s,
but in their place we can look forward to the prospect of haunted houses,
pumpkin patches and watching the leaves on the trees turn from green to
gold.
With the change of seasons we also find ourselves needing to put away
all those summer essentials and start bringing out the things that keep
us warm and cozy through the cooler, crisper days of October and
November.
The problem we all
sometimes encounter is
that with the end of each
season most of those
“Seasonal” items can end
up crowding our closets
and garages. This can be
frustrating, especially
when most likely we won’t
even need them again until
that season rolls around
next year.Whether intend-
ed for Spring, Summer, Fall,
or Winter, these items are
wonderful candidates for
Self Storage because they
can be quickly taken from
your unit to your home as your needs change throughout the year. This
lessens the amount of “stuff” cluttering your personal space, but keeps
the things you are using every day easily accessible.
Here is a list of items you might consider putting in Storage for season-
al use:
- Outdoor Furniture
- Seasonal Clothing
- Lawn Tools
- Recreational Equipment (Boats, jet skis, Pool Supplies, Bikes, and
ATV’s)
- Holiday Decorations
- Serving Dishes, Seasonal linens, & Party items
Those are just a few ideas, but if you take a little time to make your
own list, we’re sure you’ll see how much of your space you can free up.
Whenever you’re ready, the managers at any of your local Northwest Self
Storage locations can help you find a size that’s right for you.
