Working Hard For You
Greg Matthews, State Representative from District 50, was
born and raised in Gresham. He graduated from Gresham
High School, after graduation he served in the Army as a
paratrooper and a military police of cer. After his military
service he moved back to Gresham where he served as a
police of cer, re ghter and community volunteer. Greg
learned rsthand about the issues concerning Gresham and
District 50 and since being elected to the state legislature
he is working hard on the solutions that are needed.

2012 Legislative Session
During the session he worked with the Bureau of
Labor and Industries to establish a program to help
veterans gain access to bene ts. He is currently
working with other state agencies to expand the pro-
gram and help more veterans. He is also currently
working to help with veteran housing issues.
He continues to work on campaign nance reform, in
particular disclosure of campaign nance information.
Public safety reform continues to be a major focus of
his, particularly sentencing and youth, funding the
911 system and gang enforcement.
