shop, Tim’s Great Cigars at the intersection
of 238th and Halsey. You can’t miss the cigar store indian out front which
is becoming a local icon. Tim works hard daily to make sure his customers
are offered one of the best selections of cigars you will find anywhere. If he
doesn’t have it and you want it, he’ll get it.
In a short time the store has grown from three display shelves to the
present where every square inch of wall space boasts cigars of all price ranges
and tastes, not to mention the array of pipes, pipe tobaccos, humidors and
accessories for the discerning person who enjoys a good smoke.
Stepping into the shop is a step back in time. It is more like entering a
cigar store of long ago with memorabilia of another time and conversations
abide ranging fron cigars to guitars and fishing. Tim’s is designed for those
that appreciate the face to face encounter that seems so lacking these days.
The official greeter is Gunnar, a German Shorthair who is just as glad to see
you, as Tim is. You will soon discover that Tim works hard to make sure you
