Trout Creek starts up in the Ochoco Mountains. It rolls
through Jefferson County’s north and east sections, and
merges with the Deschutes River just as the river pushes
into Wasco County, just prior to Trout Creek Rapids. There
are several powerful rock formations, from canyon ridges
to stand-alone palisades like the one above, to treat the
eyes of Trout Creek Road travelers.
