This kitchen is
all about style
and design
implimentation.
Cascade Custom
Remodel and Deb
Seeley Designs were
up to the task of turning a galley kitchen
into one with a prep island, integrated
appliances and a casual seating area. Deb
designed island legs with wood strapping,
brushed “pewter” aluminum laminate
inlay and decorative rivets to complete
the island sitting areas. The
custom hood mimics the
crown molding detailing.
Our customers love the character of
wood and seeing the wood grain was
important to them. The solution was
utilizing a combination of walnut with
sage green stain for the cabinetry. In order
to bring in more light and contrast, the
counters are Namibia Persa granite, with
back splashes done using large format
Waterfall white tiles, with black glass/
marble liner detailing to mimic the black
striation in the granite.
Deb did a monochromic paint theme
by painting the trim and walls the same
color. This draws your eye back to the
details of the cabinetry. A built-in seating
area was designed to give our customers
a casual eating area without encroaching
into the island space. Its custom cushion
and pillows, soften and add texture to the
area. White laminate glass was installed
in the china hutches on each side of the
bench to bring more light into the area
and shadow items stored.
Function, design, and implementation
are essential elements when tackling
remodeling. Because of the professional
expertise of Cascade Custom Remodel this
kitchen was completed ahead of schedule
and design implemented without a hitch.
Bon appetit!
