When the
owners inherited
their 1970’s ranch
house, cherished
recollections
with family were
rekindled. They
welcomed the prospect of creating new
memories for years to come while being
acutely aware of the need for major
renovation.
Typical of the time, the house lacked
flow. Dark, narrow hallways and sunken
rooms stood in the way of creating a true,
aging-in-place home. It was time for the
severely outdated structure
to graduate into a warm,
inviting home.
With decades of experience and a
reputation for delivering unparalleled
customer satisfaction, Ed Parsons was
introduced to the project. Shortly after,
the team at Parsons Remodeling began
construction. Multiple additions expand
the footprint of the home. The master
bedroom is now a tranquil suite, complete
with walk-in closet and spacious master
bath. One stunning feature is the master
suite’s shower. Residents can control the
custom shower’s multiple heads remotely
from anywhere in suite.
At the heart of the home, a newly
expanded great room is adorned with a
vaulted ceiling and center post harvested
from a tree on property. Stunning olive
hardwood floors unite the kitchen and
great room. Solid alder cabinets are
stained and lacquered to complement the
flooring.
Anchoring the kitchen, an imported
slab of Brazilian Baricatto Granite creates
a timeless, functional countertop. The
transformation flows from the great room
to a large covered patio, complete with
custom outdoor fireplace. Literally every
living space is infused with new warmth
and vitality.
The owners had a vision to revitalize
their aged ranched house into an aging-
in-place home. Ed Parsons and his team
turned a vision into reality. The Andersens
now enjoy a finished product that will
produce cherished memories for years to
come.
