dience that “color is just a color
– it’s just decorated skin.” In the
end, the animals realize the folly
of their ways and live happily to-
gether in their sandy home.
The first performance is
planned for Friday, June 21, at 4
p.m. and is free as a part of the
Festival’s Kids Day celebration.
The second performance is Satur-
day, June 22, at 10:30 a.m. Tickets
for the Saturday performance are
$5 each and are available prior
to the Festival at the West End
Building, Parks and Recreation
Department, 4101 Kruse Way,
or during the Festival near the
stage.
The performances are the cul-
mination of a week’s activities
beginning with an audition and
several rehearsals for students in
first through 12th grades.
