ur early autumn has seen re-
cord-breaking rainfall amounts
and it seems as if we’ve had gul-
ly washer after gully washer. If

Alan O’Hara, who co-owns the store
with his wife, Amy, describes When The
Shoe Fits as, “a full-service men’s and
women’s shoe store that will measure
your feet, talk with you about any prob-
lems you might have with your feet and
find shoes that will meet your needs.”
At When The Shoe Fits, you’ll find a
certified pedorthist and a professionally
trained staff that can modify inserts
and shoes in order to address individual
foot issues. Foot issues are common in

“Statistics say one out of four persons
will experience a foot problem at some
point in their life,” O’Hara said, adding
that foot problems can strike young ath-
letes, those who have had surgeries and
professionals who spend a great deal of
time on their feet.

boots and shoes with fun printed pat-
terns for fall.”
Another brand, Dansko, “freshens
up their fall clog and shoe collections
with exciting new prints, colors and tex-
tures,” O’Hara added.
When The Shoe Fits is planning a
Dansko event on the morning of October
19, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
“A factory representative will be in
the store to answer questions and show
the entire fall line of Dansko,” O’Hara
said, adding that gifts will be available
with purchases.
