Japanese dining experi-
ence? Look no further
then Progress Ridge
TownSquare.
The newest addition to the Bea-
verton shopping complex is Nikki
Sushi & Steak. This restaurant,
which opened just weeks ago, of-
fers authentic Japanese food, fresh
(not frozen) fish and an exciting se-
lection of sushi, steak, chicken and
seafood meals.
Walk into Nikki Sushi & Steak
and there is a large, comfortable
dining area that will please family
members of all ages. Nikki Sushi
& Steak almost has an interac-
tive feeling. You can sit at one of
ten seats facing the sushi bar and
watch a sushi chef put together
some delectable treats. Or you can
select seating in the traditional din-
ing area. Nikki Sushi & Steak offers
adults a full bar, complete with bot-
tled beers and wines. Youmay even
catch a ball game on a big television
screen.
Nikki Sushi & Steak has an im-
pressive menu that will change
from time to time, as the restaurant
decides the best choices for custom-
ers. Popular menu items include the
“Garden of Eden,” which is tuna
wrapped in crab meat; the dish
also features avocado, radishes and
sprouts with soy mustard sauce.
Another item on the cold appetizer
menu is Yellowtail Jalapeno, offer-
ing up eight delicious pieces of Yel-
lowtail; jalapeno pepper gives it an
added kick.
For those who like things on the
hotter side, try their Spicy Nikki
Shrimp which is tossed in spicy
mayo sauce.
On the Chef’s Special Roll menu,
the Nikki House Special Roll gives
you crispy lobster, eel, cucumber,
avocado, sprout, crab meat and to-
biko. Try Nikki Chicken, sauteed
and topped with goat cheese and
sun dried tomatoes (in a basil lem-
on butter sauce).
The seafood and shellfish menu
includes Miso Marinated Sea Bass,
Nikki Shrimp, Pan Seared Scallops,
Mussels over Linguine and the Sea-
food Platter.
Ask them about their steaks
menu. Nikki Sushi & Steak only
serves top choice aged beef.
If you’re new to Progress Ridge
TownSquare, select some tables at
the back of the restaurant and enjoy
a sweeping view of Progress Lake,
a chance to take in a little nature
in the midst of a large metropolitan
area.
