The
107th Clackamas County Fair
and
56th Canby Rodeo
are
coming your way on Aug. 13-18. Tickets to the Clackamas County
Fair and Rodeo are available for purchase online again at
. A direct link to all available online tickets is on our
website. For only the price of admission you can participate in lots
of hands on activities, live entertainment on 3 stages, view livestock
displays, 4-H and FFA exhibits, and more!
New this year is
Brad’s World of Reptiles
in the Providence
Family Fun Grove. Come and see snakes, lizards, and a bandana
wearing alligator! Explore and learn about exotic reptiles as well as
those found in your own backyard!
Also new this year is the
Ag-Ventureland
hands-on area for
those young at heart. Lots of hands on activities are free with your
fair admission, such as pedal tractors, cow milking, bean play boxes
and craft stations. You can find this creative land in the Providence
Family Fun Grove.
This year we have a whole new entertainment lineup with a few
returning favorites. This year we are featuring
No Dice Rockband,
Showdown, Joni Harms, Ben Rue, Michelle Drey & Branded, The
Tommy Hogan Band, Chris David,
and more. Check out the full

Don’t let the fun stop there. The
PRCA Canby Rodeo
is heart-
pounding fun for the whole family. The Canby Rodeo was named
the 2010 Large Rodeo of the Year, and awarded the 2011 Justin
Boots Best Footing Award, on the Columbia River Circuit. The rodeo
runs Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with slack running daily at
approximately 4-6 p.m. Slack is free with your fair admission.
The
Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant
is returning as well with two
contestants: Sara Marcus of Sisters and our very own Carly Keicher
of Sherwood (2012 Canby Rodeo Princess). The horsemanship com-
petition will take place Friday at 10 a.m. in the rodeo arena, with
contestant “Mock media interviews” on the Food Court Stage at 5:30
p.m. with KPTV12’s Kimberly Moss.
The coronation of the 2014 Miss Rodeo Oregon will take place
during Saturday night’s rodeo performance. The contestants will be
available to sign autographs in the Ford Booth on Rodeo Roadway
on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. You can visit their web-

You can’t miss out on the
Star Rentals Demolition Derby
on
Sunday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. These cars will crash and slide until there
is only one left running!

Canby Area Transit (CAT) – Fair Shuttle
Tuesday, August 13 ~ Saturday, August 17
Canby Area Transit will operate a shuttle between Canby Market Center
(near Fred Meyer) and the Clackamas County Fair Grounds.
The Southbound Orange Line stop at
North Pine Street and 99E will be closed during the Fair.
CAT riders traveling to the Fair Grounds from the north should connect
with the Fair Shuttle at Canby Market Center (near Fred Meyer).
