Return Flight
Coming back to the Clackamas County Fair is Return Flight, a rocking horn-
driven show band that's sure to be a hit at your next party, event or concert.
Over the last few years, Return Flight has developed a group that is as much
fun to watch as it is to listen and dance to. The band mixes the excitement of
horns with great vocals,
great songs, and a rocking
rhythm section for a full tilt
good time. This year, you
can see them perform on
Friday, Aug. 16, on the
Grove Stage.
Return Flight was the
brainchild of one John
Parman. After playing suc-
cessive years in a number
of hard rock and heavy metal bands, he decided it was time to play the type
of music his young daughter would want to hear. After presenting the idea to
Steve Kelly, who was also in a number of the aforementioned bands, and find-
ing he was on board with the idea (as were his kids), the both of them then
called people they knew who might work out in such a large production. To
their surprise, there was a lot of interest, and so it was that a meeting of sorts
was set up at a local watering hole in late April of 2007 and Return Flight was
officially born.

Oregon Old Time Fiddlers
Returning to the Fair once again is the Oregon Old Time Fiddlers. Come
listen to the sounds of old fashioned fiddling. Every weekend, somewhere
in Oregon, fiddlers gather in grange halls, senior centers, or where ever they
can play music together.
But on Wednesday, Aug. 14, they will be performing on the Grove Stage
for the Clackamas County Fair from 2 to4 p.m.. You won't want to miss their
jam session!
Oregon Trail Pitchpipers
And new this year, we have the Oregon Trail Pitchpipers! The Pitchpipers
are a singing organization that focuses on men’s barbershop style music.
They will be roaming the grounds daily from 7 to 9 p.m. singing at ran-
dom to the delight of your ears! If you don’t catch these wandering min-
strels, they will be performing on the Grove Stage on Saturday, Aug. 17, from
2-4 p.m.
John English
Also, we have John English,“The Voice” coming back to
the Fair. A tribute to a prominent member of the Rat
Pack, Frank Sinatra, John will be performing on
Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the Clackamas County Fair.
Since the age of 19, John has appeared at numerous
venues such as San Francisco's Clift Hotel, The Space
Needle in Seattle, and at the Sands Convention Center in
Las Vegas. To hear him perform, you would think it was
Sinatra himself.
