Baker Prairie students will
sell Christmas trees
The Baker Prairie Middle School East Coast Travelers will sell Christ-
mas trees every Saturday and Sunday through Christmas from 10 a.m. to
4 p.m.
This is a fundraiser for Baker Prairie students traveling the East Coast
in June. They will sell u-cut grand fir trees for $15 each.
Directions to the lot are: (from S. Ivy Street) Turn east onto Township
Road. Follow Township to Mulino Road intersection. Continue straight
on Township and the lot is on the right side of the road, 1.5 miles past
Mulino Road, across from 11463 S Township Rd.

Thelma’s Place offering
Christmas trees for sale
Douglas Fir, Grand Fir and Blue Spruce Christmas trees are now avail-
able at Thelma’s Place for $20. Trees range in size from 4-feet to 10 feet
and are in the courtyard of Thelma’s Place and Country Side Living.
There will also be 3-foot to 4-foot live potted Christmas trees available.
Delivery is available within 10 miles of Thelma’s Place.
Proceeds from the tree sales help Thelma’s Place offer quality activity
programs for participants at the adult day center.
Country Side Living is at 390 NW Second Ave. in Canby. Tree sale
lasts until Dec. 20.

Lions Club offers variety of
Christmas trees this year
The Canby Lions Club’s annual Christmas tree sale will run through
Monday, Dec. 23, at its NW Second Avenue and Ivy Street location. Trees
will be available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and noon to 8 p.m.
on weekdays.
“We are offering some ‘natural’ trees again this year,” said Jason Pad-
den, tree chairman. “We are also offering a few Nordman firs that are new
on the market this year and similar to the nobles, but more open-
branched.”
The Canby Lions Club has been selling Christmas trees to the Canby
area since the early 1960s.
