Lodging and Food
Travelers and visitors will find many
options
for enjoying a nice meal, a frosty
microbrew or glass of local wine or saké and
resting their heads for the night.
Lodging
Forest Grove offers a variety of motels and
vacation rentals to accommodate overnight
guests as well as the eclectic Grand Lodge.
Constructed in 1922 as a Masonic and Eastern
Star orphanage, the McMenamin brothers of
Portland renovated and opened the lodge in
2000. It now offers 77 European-style guest
rooms, a spa, theater, soaking pool and a pair of
restaurants on its well-manicured grounds.
If you’re up for an outdoor adventure, consider the cozy
cabins at L.L. “Stub” Stewart State Park.
Food
Forest Grove has a wide variety of dining options, from
traditional American fare to Mexican, Middle Eastern, Italian,
English, Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisines.
Beverage selections include locally roasted coffee, wines and
saké from just down the road and a selection of local and
Oregon craft brews.
A detailed list of restaurants and accommodations can be
found at www.visitforestgrove.com or from the Forest Grove
Chamber of Commerce.
