LAN SU CHINESE GARDEN
— Experience Chinese culture at Lan Su Chi-
nese Garden, a one-square-block park overflowing with traditional landscap-
ing and architecture. Two artists will display their garden-inspired work for
monthlong exhibitions in July, August and September. The garden is located
in Old Town at Northwest Third Avenue and Everett Street. Tickets are $9.50
for adults; $8.50 for seniors and $7 for students. Children younger than 5 are

SUNDAY PARKWAYS
— The city of Portland will shut down a
few streets at a time this summer for Sunday Parkways, offering a
chance to walk, bike or roll along in a car-free environment. Take a
ride and enjoy food, music and activities along the way. The dates are June 23, July
28, Aug. 25 and Sept. 29. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Locations are in various
