When Francis “Frank” Gaudette opened Francis
Xavier’s Restaurant 14 years ago, he wanted it to
be a place where people felt welcomed to come together to
share good food and conversation. He also wanted a place
where customers felt comfortable to relax and linger in a
warm, homey atmosphere.
Frank’s dedication to offering a memorable dining expe-
rience stems from his own childhood. Growing up with nine
siblings, he remembers the kitchen table as the main gather-
ing place for family and friends. An unexpected guest was
embraced by an extra place set at the table. Home cooking
and lively conversation dominated the meal, leaving every-
one with a feeling of being nourished in both body and mind.
For nearly forty years, Frank’s greatest pleasure in shar-
ing a meal with others has been a hallmark in the restaurant
industry. It’s a tradition we continue today.
At Francis Xavier’s, we invite you to enjoy our hospital-
ity, good food and great service, where dining is an unhur-
ried occasion and you’re never asked to do the dishes.
