Linda has been work-
ing in the field of Ac-
counting for over 25
years. Because of a
four-year stint with
the Humane Society
of Cowlitz County and
her years serving on
the Board of Directors
of World Mercy Teams as their Treasurer,
she has experience with event planning,
fundraising and grant writing, too. Linda
is our Quick-Books ProAdvisor and han-
dles the bookkeeping side of the business.
Linda lives with her youngest daughter in
Oregon City.
Melissa lives in
Troutdale with her

since she was a teen-
ager, and is generally acknowledged to be
“a whiz” when it comes to understanding
income tax law. Melissa is working on her

Teresa Hughes has been the Executive Direc-
tor of McLoughlin Place since the spring of
2012. She has worked in the senior care indus-
try since 2005. Originally from California, she
has enjoyed making a new home here in Ore-
gon and learning about the local communities.
Since starting here, she has made many posi-
tive changes to our community. McLoughlin
Place offers both Assisted Living and Memory
Care rooms at reasonable prices. We invite you
out to meet Teresa and to tour our community.
My mother has been residing at McLoughlin Place
now since September 2007. She originally was placed
in assisted living but has been in memory care for the
majority of her time there. Throughout the years I have
seen many changes in management, staffing, and own-
ership of McLoughlin, however it seems that new and
better things have come with each change. The job in
the memory care unit is such a difficult one for fam-
ily, and staff, however Mcloughlin seems to have put
many things in place to help in all kinds of situations
for my mother and family. I have always felt comfort-
able with my mother there, and able to have peace of
mind when I travel. I always appreciate the fact that I
can approach all management personally, e-mail, and
phone to always discuss any concerns or changes that
I see that could help in any way to make my Mother’s
Journey with her Alzheimer’ the best that it can be.
