is a team of
committed,
positive,
successful
instructors,
parents, and
students who
are striving to be balanced in the
physical, mental, spiritual, and social
parts of their lives. We work together
for the bene t of our team and
communities, helping all achieve their
goals and become the best they are
capable of becoming. We will educate
ourselves, clients and community in
all aspects of discipline, self-defense
and the protection of the
environment, peace and those who at
the moment may not have the
resources to protect themselves.
ose who choose to train at Martial
Arts Fitness Center have a desire to
achieve a standard of excellence in all
of their endeavors and who are willing
to be committed to constant
improvement of themselves. As we
develop personally we are also able to
help others in our family, school and
community. Our martial arts
instructors develop students’ desire to
improve and grow so that the
motivation to excel comes from
within. To us, this is truly the best
form of leadership. We are black belt
martial artists who stand tall and live
strong. at’s what sets us—and our
students—apart from the crowd.

MARCHING BAND
Did you play in a high school or college
marching band? Remember how much
fun that was? Have you ever found
yourself wishing you could relive those
days? Well, dream no longer, my musical
friend... e Beat Goes On!
e Beat Goes On is an all-adult marching
band committed to delighting Northwest
and National audiences while reliving the
best parts of the marching band
experience. e band is known for its
feel-good attitude, emphasis on audience
interaction, and spontaneity on the street
and on stage. ough our musical tastes
are eclectic, TBGO features a high-energy,
brassy, rock and roll style—we may be a
marching band, but we’re more likely to
play Lady Gaga than John Phillip Sousa!
Band members hail primarily from the
Paci c Northwest but come from as far
away as Ohio, Florida, Arizona, and
California for special events.

BRASS BAND
e Transcendental Brass Band
mixes jazz, funk and ska into a New
Orleans style dance party. With a
dash of Fela Kuti and Jimi Hendrix,
this Portland seven-piece ensemble
really gets your feet moving. It’s a
great mix of horn- lled goodness
