pool with a custom waterslide, a pass-
through between the kitchen and
outdoor entertainment area and a hall
closet bookshelf with secret access to a
turret up above—all features unique in
design to one specific home.
But just because many homes on the
Street shine with such singular accents
doesn’t mean that they’re also not full
of design ideas that can find their way
into any home around.
“I think a lot of it is just seeing some
new ideas and layouts, new ways to or-
ganize things that people may not have
seen before,” says
Christina Ingham
,
an interior designer for Pahlisch Homes.
For example, Ingham says unique
tile layouts and sizes — say a diagonal
pattern with 12-inch-by-24-inch tiles as
opposed to 12 by 12 — can create an
updated look in a hurry and at an ap-
proachable price. She also says paint
colors on display at the NW Natural
Street of Dreams can be inspirational
for people who’ve had a hard time de-
ciding on paint colors and incorporat-
ing them into their own spaces.
“How to transition the colors can be
tricky,” Ingham says. “Walking through
these homes is a great way to see it all
come together.”

says it also helps to seek out the familiar
in Street of Dreams homes.
“Look for similar home décor, col-
ors or textures that you have in your
home,” he says, “and look for ways to re-
organize your tabletops or throwmixed
patterns together.”
