7628. Whether you want to stay cool inside or
bring a book out into the sunshine, the library
is a great place to start.
See a play at the Lakewood
Center for the Arts
Starting July 12 and running
through Aug. 18, the Lakewood
Center for the Arts will be show-
ing the off-Broadway show “Greater Tuna” on
its main stage. The play is described as a “fun
‘tour de farce’ of character and quick costume
changes.” For show times and tickets, visit

Get involved at the adult
community center
For residents over the age of
50, summer is a great time to
jump in with the Lake Oswego
Adult Community Center. Among the high-
lights are scheduled group trips throughout
Oregon, like July’s excursion to Sisters, Bend
and Shaniko. From July 7 to 9, the adult com-
munity center will spend two nights in Bend,
visit the High Desert Museum and stop by
Sisters and Shaniko as well. The trip is $452
per person for double occupancy and $552 for
