We’ve always said that a bank is only as good as the community it serves,
as
well as the people and events that it sponsors. With that in mind, it’s probably
pretty safe to say that HomeStreet is one fantastic bank.
We are proud to support the
Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts
Nice community,
mind
if we sponsor it?

Discover new tunes
Starting July 10, and running weekly
until the end of August, Foothills and
Westlake parks will host “Sounds of
Summer” concerts from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Each
week will feature a different musical act,
startingwith 80s rock band The Radical Revo-
lution on July 10. Foothills Park is home to the
first four concerts, and Westlake Park takes
over as the venue in August. For more infor-
mation, call the parks and recreation depart-
ment at 503-675-2549 or visit ci.oswego.or.us/
parksrec/radical-revolution-july-10-2013.
Experience the Gallery
Without Walls
Located in downtown Lake Oswego,
the Gallery Without Walls is a great
way to take a leisurely stroll and
experience some of the city’s finest art. The
gallery is presented free of charge and fea-
tures more than 60 pieces – both permanent
and loaned. If you want a docent-led tour for
a group of any size, call 503-675-3738 to sched-
ule. Or, if you’re more independent-minded,
you can plot your own route with the help of
the L.O. Art Tour iPhone app, which can be
found by searching artscouncillo.org/tour on
the phone’s Web browser.
Go for a hike
There’s no excuse to stay inside dur-
ing the summer months, and Lake
Oswego offers more than 300 acres
of natural area that is tailor-made for a hike.
From the steep trails at Iron Mountain Park
to the flatter paths in Springbrook Park and
Bryant Woods, there’s a hike out there for
anyone. Visit ci.oswego.or.us/parksrec/parks-
trails or call 503-675-2549 formore information
on what the city has to offer.
Play tennis
The Indoor Tennis Center, at
2900 Diane Drive in Spring-
brook Park, contains four
courts and is open to play throughout the
summer (except from Aug. 17 to 31, when it’s
closed for maintenance). The courts get busy,
so it’s a good idea to plan ahead and make a
reservation by calling 503-635-5550 or visiting
ci.oswego.or.us/parksrec/indoor-tennis-cen-
ter. The Indoor Tennis Center is open from 6
a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, and courts cost $18
an hour.
Hit the skate park
Skateboarders and in-line skat-
ers, look no further. For a mem-
