SHOC Foundation 5th Annual
Drive Out Ovarian Cancer golf
tournament, Sept. 6
The tournament is an 18-hole, 4-person
scramble format with a shotgun start. A
light breakfast is included as well as a
raffle and silent auction. A buffet lunch
will be provided as well as prizes. The
SHOC Foundation is a 100% volunteer
operated organization supporting ovar-
ian cancer research at the OHSU Knight

Down the River Clean Up on the
Clackamas, Sept. 8
We Love Clean Rivers, in partnership
with Clackamas River Basin Council, will
host the Annual Down the River Clean
Up on the Clackamas at Clackamette
Park! This is an on-river, volunteer clean
up made that joins together people on
drift boats, kayaks, rafts, tubes and even
with SCUBA gear, to scour the banks
and river bottom for garbage. After
volunteers float and fill their boats, all
are invited to a family friendly celebra-
tion with a free BBQ, live music, beer,
booths, games, prizes and a great silent

Celebration in Boring, Sept. 8
The annual celebration in Boring
takes place each September from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is a family event
showcasing community organiza-
tions, BBQ, ice cream, soft drinks,
