Celebrate Father’s Day and a
Dutch-Oven cook-off at the
Historic Philip Foster Farm in
Eagle Creek, June 15
Bring Dad down to the farm for some
old-fashioned fun this year! We’ve moved
our event to Saturday, and combined it
with our popular Dutch-Oven cook-off.
What a great way to celebrate your fam-
ily’s history. The cooks will be starting
at 8:00 a.m., but the farm is open for
everyone else from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $5
per person, $20 per family. Philip Foster
Farm is located at 29912 SE Hwy. 211,

June 21-23
Open Studios of Beavercreek holds
their annual tour of Artists’ Studios
welcoming art lovers from near and

Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts,
June 21-23
The Festival of the Arts, celebrating its
Bi-Centennial 50th year, is a major re-
gional arts venue presenting the creative
endeavors of recognized and emerging

100th Anniversary Art Faire and
Sale in the Park, June 22
Come celebrate the 100th Anniversary of
Oregon City’s Carnegie Library from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be birthday cake,
children’s activities, music and special
guests Author Matt Love, State Librarian
MaryKay Dahlgreen, Oregon Poet Laure-
ate Paulann Petersen, Former Mayor Alice
Norris, Mayor Doug Neeley and a special
visitor from Mr. Carnegie himself! There is
an art faire in the park by the Three Riv-
ers Artists Guild and a Fire Station open

Gymanfu Ganu 78th Annual
Welsh Hymnfest, June 23
Everybody is invited to come sing
Welsh hymns in four-part harmony at
this traditional Welsh Festival. Newcom-
ers may sing entirely in English, but will
probably get caught up in the spirit. Te
Bach, tea and scrumptious goodies are
available for purchase. The event takes
place at Bryne Seion Welsh Church

Clackamas Cove Triathlon,
June 23
The Cove has been an open water
venue for years, but now you can TRI
it! Swim through the spillway to the
Clackamas River, race up Clacka-
mas River Drive on the bike, and run
through downtown Oregon City to the
Grand Staircase! Staging and fin-
ish at Clackamette Park for both the
Sprint and Olympic Distances. Spon-
sored in part by the Portland Triathlon

his studio tour winds through country roads with stops at working art
studios. You’ll see one-of-a-kind works of pottery, sculpture, metal, oil,
watercolor, acrylic, glasswork, photography, garden art, wool felting, jewelry,
greeting cards, fabric, & more. Open Studios of Beavercreek offers two shows
a year. one in june and the other in October. An average studio tour includes
up to 26 individual artists displaying their works at as many as 14 different
studio locations.
