I love this time of year! The weather is
perfect for mixing outdoor activities with
indoor workouts. The nights are cool and
the days are wonderful! School has start-
ed, football is in full swing and the holi-
days are just around the corner.
So how do you stay on track with tail-
gate parties, Halloween and Thanksgiving
staring you in the face?
The best and most enjoyable way to
get a grasp in these areas is to exercise
with a friend, spouse or child. The Buddy
system is a proven way to stay committed
because it’s FUN and nobody wants to
leave their best friend hanging so the
accountability is built in for success! So
what are the best ways for you and a
buddy to get started?
The first step is to join Club Fit! Yes,
grab a buddy and get started, this is your
first step in holding each other account-
able.
All new members receive a free orien-
tation to the club and from there we rec-
ommend getting started with 10 Buddy
personal training sessions.When you sign
up for personal training with a buddy,
both you and your friend automatically
receive 20 percent off.
If you are already a member and bring
a friend who joins the club you’ll receive a
free month of membership as well as our
way of saying thank you for the referral.
Take a class with a friend, this is a ton of
fun and a great way to try something new
and challenge yourself to get through a
class that you may not have otherwise
been comfortable trying on your own.
The best part about classes is meeting
other members with the same interests
and challenges you may be faced with.
Are you 65 years of age or older and
Medicare eligible? Club Fit is Canby’s pre-
mier location for Senior Fitness. We
accept payment directly from some
health insurance programs and currently
participate in SilverSneakers , Silver Fit
and Club Fit Silver. We offer senior fitness
classes complete with fun social activities
and events. Our annual Senior Halloween
party is this week and promises to be a

This month when you join with a friend
we’ll waive the membership setup fee for
