■ Grassroots organization 2D4D’s first annual La Strada dei Pastelli Chalk Art Festival is on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sunday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The festival is an immersive, large-scale street painting experience wherein professional and emerging visual artists create larger-than-life, bold images directly on the asphalt for all to watch.
