Terrain
Sales are strong on the Terrain - GMC’s crossover SUV with mas-
culine appeal and a great value story. The 3.0-liter direct injected
V-6 engine delivers 264 horsepower, and a new feature allows
the engine to use E85 bioethanol fuel. Buyers can also choose an
economical Ecotec 2.4-liter engine for even better fuel economy.
The Ecotec engine also accepts E85 fuel. Both engines are backed
by a six-speed automatic transmission that helps save fuel by re-
ducing engine speed on the highway.

HONDA
Honda Motor Company got its start in Japan making small mo-
torcycles, but quickly branched into automobile production.
The first Honda motorcycles appeared in America in 1959, and
Honda’s cars arrived 10 years later. The brand’s mainstay - the
Honda Civic - arrived in 1972 and has been the foundation of
the brand’s success ever since. Other models such as the Honda
Accord arrived later in the 1970s. Honda offered the first pro-
duction hybrid car, the Insight, in 1999. Today the Honda brand
includes a wide range of cars, crossover SUVs, and motorcycles.
Green enthusiasts should look for the high-performance CR-Z
hybrid sports car and the all-electric Honda Fit EV.
Fit
The Honda Fit builds on its proven strengths for 2012 with up-
dated styling on the Fit Sport, interior upgrades on all models,
and the addition of new standard and available features. The Fit’s
roomy and versatile interior offers the convenience and cargo
volume of a relatively larger vehicle. Compared to any other ve-
hicle in the subcompact class, the five-passenger Fit provides the
lowest, flattest cargo floor and the most cargo volume of 57.3
cu-ft. when the rear seats are down. Its four distinct seat configu-
rations are designed to accommodate large objects ranging from
mountain bikes to surfboards to tall houseplants..

Civic
The all-new ninth-generation Civic reinforces Honda’s reputation for
well-made, fully-equipped economy cars. The Civic has grown a lot
since it was first introduced decades ago, both in terms of interior room
and sophistication. Although styling changes were minimal, the 2012
Civic get better mileage than the previous version without sacrificing
power. The rear seat is especially roomy for a compact. Available
models include an even more fuel efficient hybrid, the sporty Si, and a
natural gas-powered sedan.

Odyssey
The 2012 Honda Odyssey remains the class-leading minivan for
fuel economy and safety ratings, while continuing to offer the
refinement, space and engaging driving experience that people
have come to expect from this highly acclaimed family vehicle.

both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration with a
5-Star Overall Vehicle Score and the Insurance Institute for High-

HYUNDAI
Hyundai was founded as a construction company in 1947, and
today the Korean giant is the world’s fifth-largest automaker,
and the Hyundai group is also involved in shipbuilding, heavy
industry, and department stores. Long known for its economy
cars such as the new Elantra, Hyundai has been raising its profile
in recent years with a string of performance luxury cars including
the new Sonata and Equus sedans. Look for the new youth-ori-
ented Veloster as Hyundai’s news for 2012.
Accent
The all-new Accent is the fourth generation of Hyundai’s econ-
omy-priced subcompact sedan and five-door hatchback. The
new Accent is best-in-class for horsepower, fuel economy, and
interior cargo space. Standard interior features include trip com-
puter, tilt wheel, 4-speaker stereo, and 6-way adjustable seats.
Air conditioning is standard on the 5-door model.

Elantra
Hyundai’s affordable Elantra sedan gets the ActiveECO system
for 2012. Following the lead of the Sonata, the new Elantra fea-
tures a fluidic sculpture design that suggests both sporty driving
dynamics and strong personal luxury. Under the hood, the Elan-
tra is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. The new engine
achieves an 18% improvement in highway fuel economy over its
predecessor. Most Elantras sold in Oregon are certified as Partial
Zero Emission Vehicles by the EPA.

Equus
The Equus sedan is Hyundai’s entry into the high-end luxury car
market, featuring an all-new 429-horsepower V8 engine, a 608-
watt Lexicon audio system with 17 speakers, Vehicle Stability
Management with pre-collision warning, Smart Cruise Control,
HID headlamps, and a front and rear parking assistance system
with rearview camera. Interior features include leather seating,
suede headliner, driver seat massage, heated and cooled front
seats, and a heated wood and leather steering wheel.

Sonata
Hyundai’s venerable Sonata sedan was redesigned last year, and
the big news this year is inside the car, as Hyundai has made
Blue Link a standard feature. Blue Link keeps track of almost ev-
erything for the Sonata owner, including up-to-the-minute traffic
and weather information and a lifeline to emergency services
and roadside assistance. Synched to a smart phone, Blue Link
will let the owner know where their Sonata is in a crowded base-
ball stadium parking lot or shopping center. It will keep an eye
on young drivers by letting mom or dad know where they are
and how fast they’re driving. With over 30 features, it turns every
Hyundai Sonata into the smartest Hyundai ever built.

Veloster
The all-new Veloster is Hyundai’s entry into the hot hatchback
market, set to compete with the MINI Cooper, Fiat 500, and VW
GTI. The Veloster’s third door to allow better access to the rear
seating area is a major feature, along with the 1.6-liter engine
and standard 6-speed manual transmission. Veloster is also a
technology platform, with standard 7-inch touchscreen display
to control Pandora Internet radio, Bluetooth phone connectiv-
ity, Blue Link emergency services - it even functions as a video
game console!

INFINITI
Infiniti is Nissan’s premium luxury brand, introduced in 1989 to
produce high line performance and luxury vehicles. The Infiniti
brand offers a luxury alternative based on Nissan’s successful
products. Cars such as the new Infiniti IPL G convertible and the
JX Crossover SUV epitomize Infiniti’s commitment to luxury and
performance.
EX
Infiniti has presented its popular EX crossover utility vehicle to
the market for 2012. All EX models now feature an advanced 297-
horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine and a new 7-speed automatic
transmission. The 7-speed gearbox has improved fuel economy
on the all wheel drive version of the EX. In addition to the new
powerplant, the EX has a host of available options, including a
RearView video monitor, premium audio system, power-folding
second row seats, a lane departure prevention system, intelligent
adaptive cruise control, and intelligent brake assist with forward
collision warning. The 2012 Infiniti EX is an IIHS Top Safety Pick.

M35h
Infiniti is about luxury and performance - and now green per-
formance with the M35h hybrid sedan. The M35h offers 360 net
horsepower from Infiniti’s proven 3.5-liter V6 engine, and Infiniti
estimates that the M35h will deliver 30 miles per gallon highway
fuel economy. The M35h can drive on electric power alone at
speeds up to 62 mph and can travel on electric propulsion for up
to 1.2 miles at a time.
