Dr. Raymond Tangredi opened MyMultiCare clinic last December on Sunnyside
Road, and he wants Clackamas County residents to know that there are several
things that set him and his clinic apart from others.
First of all, he worked in sub-Saharan Africa in 1994 to 1995, and again
in 2005, attending patients with malaria, Aids and TB, and Tangredi is both a
medical doctor, with 20 years of experience in urgent care, and a board-certiied
psychiatrist.
Most of the time patients have to see their medical doctor and then go
somewhere else in order to see a psychiatrist, but he does both.
His goal as a physician is to meet the needs of people who have slipped through the cracks, and “my place is the one place they can go to get their needs met, and
all in one place,” Tangredi said.
He specializes in all kinds of addiction treatment, but does focus on helping his
patients ind a safe way to get off opiates, like pain killers and heroin. A particular
focus is how addictive substances, like drugs or alcohol, make treating those with mental illness more dificult to treat. With his added sub-specialist training in
addiction psychiatry at OHSU in 2009 to 2010, Tangredi is capable of tackling this Small Business Owner
