PARENTS:

MIDDLE SCHOOL:
Athey Creek
FAVORITE OLD TIME FAIR ACTIVITY:
I love
watching the parade because it feels like ev-
eryone comes. It’s a very unifying experience
to stand there with almost the entire city to
watch our parade.
SERVICE PROJECT:
I volunteered at the
West Linn Public Library. I shelved books,
cleaned books, found books people wanted
to have held and prepared supplies for the
summer reading program.
SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:
At
Athey I was on student council twice, a
member of the Green Team for three years
and a member of Natural Helpers in
eighth grade. I was on the middle school
dance team for two years and a captain for
one. I played the baritone saxophone in ear-
ly-bird Jazz Band. Since sixth grade I have
been a member of the public library’s Teen
Advisory Board. I am also a Girl Scout and
recently earned my Silver Award by hosting a
writers workshop for fourth- and fifth-graders
in West Linn and Wilsonville. I play softball in
the West Linn ASA rec league.
HOBBIES:
I love to read and write, as well
as play softball, baby-sit and participate in
Girl Scout events. My favorite school subject
is band, where I play the bass clarinet and
the baritone saxophone.
PLANS FOR THE FUTURE:
In high school, I
look forward to earning my Girl Scout Gold
Award and being able to train as a camp
counselor. My troop is planning a trip to Sa-
vannah, Ga., for an upcoming summer. After
high school I want to study life sciences to
become a marine biologist.
FAVORITE PLACE IN WEST LINN:
My favorite
place in West Linn is the library! I have al-
ways loved being surrounded by books, and
one of my earliest memories is being very
excited that I could write my name so I could
get a library card.
AGE:

PARENTS:
Reagan Lawrence and Derek
Lawrence
MIDDLE SCHOOL:
Athey Creek
FAVORITE OLD TIME FAIR ACTIVITY:
As a lit-
tle girl I always loved the coronation of the
new queen. Being able to be part of that
this year is a dream come true. Other
things I enjoy at the fair are of course the
carnival rides, eating all the good fair food
and watching the skydiver come down to
announce the lucky new queen along with
the winner of $500. Everything about the
fair is so much fun and full of good mem-
ories but these are some of my favorite.
HOBBIES:
I was a gymnast for 10 years
and last year I switched to competitive
cheerleading. I am on a level 5 coed
team and we recently competed in the
world championships in Orlando, Fla. I al-
so recently made the high school varsity
cheer team, so you will see me cheering
at all the football games coming soon.
Along with that I have also been playing
the violin since I was 3 years old.
PLANS FOR THE FUTURE:
Because cheer-
leading and gymnastics are my passion I
hope to be on University of Oregon’s acro-
batics and tumbling team. This is a com-
bination of gymnastics and cheerleading.
After that, I hope to work in the medical
field as a nurse or doctor working with
children. I have four siblings so working
with kids is something I’ve always wanted
to do.
FAVORITE PLACE IN WEST LINN:
My family
owns a winery called Oswego Hills. This
is my favorite place because it is so
beautiful and every Sunday it is a place
where people come together. Another
thing I love about it is that there are a lot
of parties held there so I get to meet a
lot of fun people like country singer Dari-
us Rucker and “The Voice” winner Cas-
sadee Pope.
