Simulate a fun day at the ball
park
. Go home with a pendent souvenir,
look inside a baseball, make baseball
card scrapbooks and play baseball trivia.

The Washington County Museum will
host a
week-long camp for ten high
school girls
that helps them explore
engineering careers, leadership skills,
goal setting and
underwater robotics
technology. 9 am-2 pm. Hillsboro.

Owl pellets are masses of bone, teeth,
hair, feathers and exoskeletons of various
animals preyed upon by raptors, or birds
of prey.
Learn about raptors and
dissect a pellet.

The
Atfalati-Kalapuya
were the first
residents of Washington County. Learn
how the Atfalati dressed, what they ate
and where they lived. Make and play a
stick game, handle furs, stone tools, and
try your hand at a traditional craft.

John Fervia, member of the Tualatin
Riverkeepers
, will discuss the history of
the Tualatin River and the revival of what
was once Oregon’s most polluted river.
