The Times
T
ualatin may be 100, but even its iconic 63-year-
old Crawfish Festival keeps things fresh. Here
are a few welcome additions to the line-up:
Talent Tualatin
Show Us Your Talent, Tualatin!
Tualatin Crawfish Festival is doing it big this year,
and one of the many highlights of this year’s festival
is going to be our talent show at 6 p.m. at the main
stage.
So, whatever your talent might be — singing,
dancing, juggling — come give it a try and
show us
your talent!
Auditions will happen on Aug. 1, between 4 and 6
p.m. at the chamber of commerce, and the top 10 will
then go on and compete for the grand prize and top
youth prize (13 years and under) at the festival.
For registration and details please call us at
503.692.0780 or email at clyde@tualatinchamber.com .
Centennial Birthday Party
The celebration starts Saturday, fittingly, with a
cake in the park. Come out at 7:15 p.m. to kick off the
Centennial Celebration in the sweetest possible way.
A performance by pop big band Big Night Out starts
at 7:30 p.m., followed by a full fireworks show at 9
p.m. to end the evening with a bang.
Festival welcomes new additions
