T
he Crawfish Festival wants to in-
clude man’s best friend in the cele-
bration, too, which is why it is again
inviting pooches and their pals to
show off in the Atsa My Dawg! parade and
contest on Saturday.
Costumes are more than welcome, they’re
encouraged. Prizes are awarded in the fol-
lowing categories: Cutest Dawg, Best Depic-
tion of the “Claws for Celebration” Theme,
Best Trick and Fastest at the Timed Obsta-
cle Course. In addition, kids 12 and younger
can enter the Century of Kids category,
where they team up with their four-legged
companion to dress up and celebrate Tuala-
tin’s 100th birthday.
Atsa My Dawg! happens through a coop-
eration with Petco at Tualatin Community
Park. The schedule for Atsa My Dawg! in-
cludes:
10:30 a.m. — Free registration.
11 a.m. — Atsa My Dawg! show.
