And in 1913, by a vote of 57 to 47, the townspeople
chose to incorporate and Tualatin, Oregon came to be.
Rail to roads, horses to cars. Farms and families,
floods and onion flats. Schools, churches, and
businesses.
City hall and public library. Police and parks. Rural
past to urban present. Tradition and change.
