Tranquility
merges the serenity of calming countryside views with
a place where homeowners can stay through their golden years.
An open oor plan ensures sprawling outdoor vistas are enjoyed
throughout the entire house. High ceilings accentuate the ample
natural light pouring through the home’s abundant windows.
With so much light ooding the interior, the rooms connect
seamlessly to two exterior courtyards. An outdoor entertain-
ing area up front o ers cozy seating and a re pit. The ameni-
ties and views are equally beautiful out back, where a raised,
terraced area looks over the home’s roof to the hills beyond.
The back patio also o ers an outdoor replace, along with
dedicated space for barbecuing.
And though this home is said to be more modest than some
of its neighbors, don’t be fooled by a more a ordable price tag. The
4,200-square-foot house does not skimp on luxury or comfort with Pel-
la wood windows, Kohler xtures throughout and Camio Stone paver
patios and driveway in Jamestown blend
The design is all about clean lines and openness, with plenty of
room for entertaining guests, but also with enough space to maintain
a sense of privacy, said
Scott Bowles
, BC Custom Construction opera-
tions manager.
A reading room on the rst oor o ers a comfy spot for some peace
and quiet, and the nearby guestroom has its own bathroom. On the
opposite end of the home, the master bedroom features a walk-in
closet nearly as big as the bedroom itself, with a oating island
anchored by a chandelier hanging from above. The master
bath includes a shower with two heads, his and hers sinks and
a freestanding tub.
Built-ins are located throughout the home, maximizing
storage space. A wine cellar with concrete oors and a chilling
system is tucked beneath the stairs, where it’s easy to access
from the kitchen and dining area. Wooden wine racks line the
walls, o ering room for more than 500 bottles.
Halls throughout the home are wide, and the design is universal,
meaning it’s attractive and functional to the greatest extent for nearly
anyone.
These sorts of special touches were designed with the homeown-
ers in mind.
Tranquility
aims to provide a personal sanctuary they will
enjoy for many years to come.
