When the current residents took over ownership
of this home that had been in the family, they
wanted to update it but keep the memories of the
home intact. While doing so, they were able to
update the home to the luxuries of 2013 as well
as have a beautiful home that reminded them of
years past.
Parts of the remodel included gutting the
home to the studs, moving existing walls, ceilings
and windows. The remodel includes all Sub Zero
and Wolf appliances, and is operated by a whole-
home system that truly makes this home state of
the art and is full of features to add ease to the
residents’ lives.
Some of the features to look for in the home include
the smart panels that the homeowners can operate via
their smartphones, as well as the user-friendly kitchen
and spacious baths. The home is sure to bring many more
memories for the next generations.
The designers inspirations are elements borrowed
from the Wynn in Las Vegas. We tracked down the
manufactures of light fixtures and furniture used at the
Wynn and custom ordered several pieces to be used as
inspiration. Melinda McGraw, the designer on this project,
traveled to Las Vegas with the owners to shop at the world
market for décor and furniture.
