Oregon Days of Culture cel-
ebrates the vibrancy of the
arts, heritage, and humanities
in Oregon. This year, the
eight-day event will feature
more than 500 events across
the state and the launch of a
newOregon Field Guide that will let you and
thousands of Oregonians weigh in on our
state’s most revered or unique cultural sites
and programs.
The eight-day week showcases everyday
culture in every Oregon community. Wheth-
er it’s an exhibit at Oregon College of Art and
Craft, children’s programs at theWashington
CountyMuseum, performances at Broadway
Rose or Bag&Baggage, there’s something you
and your family can enjoy. A searchable, in-
teractive website — www.oregondaysofcul-
ture.org —makes it easy to participate.
Many thanks to the Portland Tribune and
CommunityNewspapers formaking this spe-
cial section possible. It highlights the many
incredible cultural programs and activities
taking place inWashington, Multnomah and
Clackamas Counties that are supported by
the Cultural Trust.
It also gives you a taste of culture across
our great state.
Get involved! The searchable database in-
cludes free and ticketed events, community
gatherings and volunteer opportunities.
Consider the value of Oregon culture, to
you, your family and community. We encour-
age you to acknowledge that value bymaking
an investment in Oregon culture. Give, first,
to any cultural nonprofit (there are more
than 500 in the tri-county area alone; you can
find themat the searchable database at www.
culturaltrust.org), thenmatch that gift with a
donation to the Cultural Trust to earn Ore-
gon’s innovative cultural tax credit.
Our cultural nonprofits are the heart of ev-
ery community, neighborhood, town and
county in Oregon. Support them by donating
today.
