There’s a lot we all can do to make
our community and our world a more
sustainable place; a place where we
use resources in a manner that meets
our current needs as well as those of
future generations. The choices we
make every day affect water and air
quality, energy use, health, people
and the economy. The good news is
that each day there’s more informa-
tion and assistance to make your
choices sustainable ones.
The Clackamas County Office of
Sustainability is a hub for the county’s
sustainability efforts. Resources and
information are available for busi-
nesses, organizations, and citizens,
on topics such as energy efficiency,
smart shopping, waste reduction and
recycling, local economy, transporta-
