The North Clackamas region is close to it
all. The City of Portland, with it’s beautiful
skyline, diverse shopping and entertainment
options, lies just miles to the north.
Upper right: Several area rivers offer great
fishing year-round. Trout, Steelhead, Salmon,
and Sturgeon are among a few resident
species that anglers target in both the
Willamette and Clackamas Rivers.
Middle right: Golf pro Peter Jacobsen,
Portland native, helps Dylan Ganter, 12, with
his swing during his clinic for kids at the
Children’s Course in Gladstone.
Bottom right: Miles of densely forested trails
traverse the North Clackamas County area,
but if you’re looking for quick access to a
great paved trail system — the Springwater
Trail awaits you. At over 21 miles long it
stretches from SE Portland in the west to
Boring in the east. An additional 19 miles of
trail continues to the north if you’re looking
to extend your walk, run or bike ride.
