The lovely, quiet city of Gladstone
last year hosted a year-long celebration
of its Centennial and now continues
plans for the
annual Chautauqua
celebration,
one of the longest
running in the state. Meanwhile their
mayor, Wade Byers, goes about his
work of the city as the longest termed
mayor in Oregon.
While the town is progressive, it sticks
solidly to its history and credentials. A
place to raise a family or build a small
business, the city offers progressive
schools and affordable housing both
for single family andmulti-family needs.
With its quiet demeanor, Gladstone
sits on the junction of the
Clackamas
and
Willamette rivers
where
residents and visitors enjoy the many
activities of the rivers including parks,
boating, sports fields and a popular
