FIRST FRIDAY: A CHRONICLE OF INFLUENCE: THEN & NOW
Friday, August 2, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
This exhibition observes and honors relationships between artists. Through the centuries, artists have
had influential roles in each others’ lives – be it through formal teacher-student relationships, informal
mentorships, as critics, colleagues or collaborators. Bringing together past Chronicle award-winners with
those artists who have been influential in their lives and careers, this exhibit hopes to foster insight into
how artists rely on each other to better their creations.
