PROMOTING BUSINESS SUCCESS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LAKE OSWEGO COMMUNITY
LAKE OSWEGO
CHAMBER
YOUR CHAMBER
How often do Lake Oswego
residents really think about the
impact local businesses have
on our community?
For most people, it’s pretty
easy to take for granted the
many services our local busi-
nesses provide on a daily basis.
From offering easy-to-access products and
services within minutes of your front door to
providing local jobs for your children, friends
and neighbors, the fabric of our community
is really shaped by our local businesses. And
these businesses support countless causes
such as school and charity auctions and youth
sports. They also pay local taxes that help off-
set your ever-increasing property taxes.
Lake Oswego would be far from the great
community that it is today without a caring and
supportive business environment.
Just think about the many community events
that require local businesses to step up, sup-
port and sponsor them.
Without that support, it is almost guaranteed
that community events such as: the Holiday
Tree Lighting, Summer Concert Series, Lake
Oswego Rotary Club’s Lobster Feed, Lake
Oswego Reads, the Lake Run, Lake Oswego
Festival of the Arts or the Lake Oswego Village
Flower Basket Program, as well as far too
many others to list, would ever occur.
And that’s why, now more than ever, our lo-
cal businesses need your support.
In your hands is the 2013 Lake Oswego
Chamber Directory. This year we have tried to
produce a guide that serves the entire busi-
ness community. Now in an easy-to-read and
handy format, you can quickly nd a list of not
only all the Lake Oswego Chamber members
and the services they provide, but also a list of
many of the other retail businesses that oper-
ate in Lake Oswego.
Please take the time to use this directory
and support the businesses that help make
our community great. Then ask yourself, “Do
I really need to be shopping outside of Lake
Oswego if I can get the same products and
services here?”
Imagine the impact we can all make by shop-
ping locally one extra time each week and the
ripple effect it would have on our communities.
Let’s all build a stronger community together.
Please support the businesses that support our
communities. When we all do, we all bene t.
