LAKEWOOD THEATRE COMPANY’S “THE
PEPPERMINT BEAR SHOW ‘SEASONED
GREETINGS’”
— Dec. 7, 14 and 21, Lakewood
Center for the Arts, 368 S. State St. “The
Peppermint Bear Show ‘Seasoned Greet-
ings’” takes place at the North Pole as the
elves are preparing for the holidays. Opens
Dec. 7 and continues Dec. 14 and 21 with 9
and 11 a.m. shows. Tickets are $12 for adults
and $10 for children. Tickets can be ordered
online at lakewood-center.org or by calling
the box office at 503-635-3901.

— Dec. 11, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., 706
Fourth St. Featuring live entertainment and
holiday refreshments, the Lake Oswego Pub-
lic Library’s annual event will offer some-
thing for everyone. At 1 p.m., Three Pound
Note, a duo of ex-pats from England, will
perform traditional English folk music, in-
cluding a special program of winter songs.
At 3 p.m., Talia Dugan on clarinet and her
mother, Renee Dugan, on keyboard, will per-
form assorted holiday music, both instru-
mental and vocal. Dugan is a sophomore at
Lake Oswego High School and is principal
clarinetist of the LOHS wind ensemble and a
member of the LOHS pit orchestra.

CHRISTMAS”
— Dec. 13-29, Lakewood Center
for the Arts, 368 S. State St. Irving Berlin’s
“White Christmas” runs Dec. 13 through
Dec. 29, with performances at 7:30 p.m., and
2 p.m. matinees on Dec. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and
29. No performances planned for Dec. 16, 23,
24 and 25. Tickets range in price from $20
for those 25 and younger; $34 for seniors
and $36 for adults. Tickets can be ordered
online at lakewood-center.org or by calling
the box office at 503-635-3901.
CHRISTMAS SHIP PARADE
— Dec. 14, 6 p.m.,
Foothills Park. 2013 marks the 59th year of
the magical Christmas Ship Parade. Enjoy a
parade of up to 60 brightly colored boats
decorated for the holiday season. The boats
depart from River Place Marina and contin-
ue as far as George Rogers Park, arriving
between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. For more infor-
